Cranberry Salad

This is another recipe that we make at nearly every holiday. But it's so delicious, I don't know why we don't make it more often!

INGREDIENTS:

1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 3 oz. package cranberry jello
1 ½ cups hot water
½ cup pineapple juice
1 apple, finely diced
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained

Dissolve jello in hot water and add pineapple juice. Refrigerate until it thickens and becomes syrupy (NOTE: It won't completely set like regular jello.) Combine cranberry sauce, apple, and pineapple, then stir into partially set jello. Refrigerate. This will get fairly firm after a few hours in the refrigerator. We normally make this the day before, but you could make it in the morning and serve it that night for dinner.

Tangy!
